The Land Liberation Celebration Was Lit

We had a great time at the Land Liberation Celebration on Juneteenth weekend. There was sun, freshly pressed juice, and a free store. The music was a mood and good times were had by all.

At the party we coalesced around the first potential vision for Esther's and shared ideas for what the future could look like. We gave away collard green seeds--chosen for their hardiness and resilience, like us--for attendees to grow with us and our collective vision.

Want to see what else you missed?

The in-person event also had an online component, which you can find here. Password is juneteenth. Take a look around and add your ideas to our collective vision!

We raised $17,000 additional dollars for land liberation work in the following weeks; our funding gap gets smaller with each passing day. Nevertheless, there's still a gap.

Join us and more than 451 others like yourself to make a difference in West Oakland. We seek investors to fund the acquisitions, community owners to steward the coop, donations to fund the administrative work, champions to spread the word and staff to work with us. We encourage you to read the offering circular before making a decision to invest. There are so many ways to get involved in the Esther's Orbit Room Cultural Revival Project. How will you get in?
