Welcome Amy Huang

We have a new Operations Coordinator, Amy Huang. We are excited to welcome her to the EB PREC family.

We asked Amy why she was excited to join EB PREC. Here's what she said:

I'm excited to join a team that is not only fighting gentrification, but envisioning and advancing a reality where Black, Indigenous, and People of Color can resist the current housing (distribution) crisis, stay rooted in our communities, and build collective economic power. I'm inspired by EB PREC's commitment to "throwing out the rulebook and creating our own lane" – to imagining and building new ways of operating, internally and externally – and I feel extremely fortunate to be able to use my facilitation, execution, and team multiplying skills in service to this people-powered movement.

Amy brings to EB PREC over eight years of experience in multi-stakeholder communications and project management, from a career spanning landing site selection for the Mars Curiosity rover, technical strategy for Google, and strategic communications for the Bay Area transportation industry. Now activating her rich technical background in the collective struggle against oppression, she is committed to advancing a liberated, equitable, and radically inclusive future. A queer Asian-American woman, child of immigrants, and settler, she thrives when catalyzing passionate people to do their best work.
